Work, Work, Work

Lots of workouts this weekend, March is just around the corner. Declan's Moon, a Derby favorite, worked 7 furlongs at Hollywood Park in 1:25-3/5. Nice to see a long workout in preparation for the Derby distance. Nick Zito's High Fly drilled a bullet workout-5 furlongs in 59 seconds & change. Scipion worked 6 furlongs in 1:14-4/5 at Santa Anita. Filly hopeful Sweet Catomine worked 5 furlongs in 59-3/5 seconds, quite an impressive turn of speed for the filly. Sweet Catomine is a nice filly; I just think there is a pretty good crop of 3 year olds that it may be tough for Sweet Catomine to beat the boys; but, you never know. At least Sweet Catomine has a name you can sing the Neil Diamond hit "Sweet Caroline" to!

Bet with your head, not over it!
